The Visionary

Abdur Razzaque Ansari, was a fighter for the downtrodden sections of the society.

His passion for the inclusive development of the poor tribal and weavers’ community enthused him to establish many organisations for the benefit of the society.

As a staunch believer the value of for the society at large, he established more or less 20 primary and secondary schools for both boys and girls and a high school.

To ameliorate the unemployment issues in the region he started various schemes beginning with the primary weavers and tribal society in different locations to help them to earn their livelihood.

His contribution towards establishment of Healthcare facilities in the region has been widely admired by the society. In Collaboration with the famous Apollo Hospitals Group, a first super speciality hospital was established in the name and style of Abdur Razzaque Ansari memorial weavers Hospital, the best healthcare centre of the state.

On the 13th of March 1992, he was laid to rest with State Honours. But his Vision continues and his son is actively taking his legacy by involving in healthcare sector to new zenith.

In past two decades SAC has earned the image of providing best medical facilities in different locations of the state. Keeping with fast changing medical practices and procedures through cut edge technology and hiring star consultants have made SAC hospital’s a name in the health care filed in eastern Region.

  • In the year 1996 A Super speciality hospital in the name and style of “Abdur Razzaque Ansari Memorial weavers’ Hospital” was established where Mr. Ansari was fully devoted his time from its concept to its commissioning of the hospital and run the same successfully as a Director Projects for two decades now Medanta Hospital, is running this hospital and he being a Senior Advisor of the hospital still contributing a lot for the hospital.
  • In the year 2006, under his leadership and initiative SAC partnered with HCG, Bangalore to established the first Cancer Hospital in Jharkhand at Irba, Ranchi, India “ Curie Abdur Razzaque Ansari Cancer Institute” was made operational in the year 2008 inaugurated by the then Vice -President of India. The hospital is having high-end first LINAC machine in the eastern zone with IGRT. He is now Executive Director of the Hospital.
  • Mr. Ansari has acquired vast knowledge in the field of healthcare of excellence from renowned institutions such as IIM- Ahmadabad, Kaiser Permanente, San Fransico, and Studer Group of USA, he also attended many national and international Healthcare conferences and summit.
  • Sayeed Ahmad Ansari by virtue of his involvement in healthcare taken his mission to the international arena presenting his one-point programme “Shaping the Nation through a Rural hospital” and thereby presented related case study in various forums. Notable amongst them are:
